Grillo ist eine sizilianische Weißweinsorte, die sowohl in frischen als auch in kräftigen Stilen überzeugt und oft für Marsala verwendet wird.
Typisch sind Aromen von Zitrone, Grapefruit, Melone und mediterranen Kräutern, ergänzt durch leichte florale Noten. Am Gaumen zeigt Grillo eine lebendige Säure, gute Struktur und häufig eine feine salzige Mineralität. Reifere Stile wirken voller und runder.
