🥃 Zanin Grappa Riserva Invecchiata – 1.5 L Magnum Bottle
Origin and Production
Zanin Grappa Riserva Invecchiata originates from the traditional Zanin 1895 distillery in Zugliano, Veneto (Italy). Only selected pomace from Italian white wine grapes forms the basis of this aged grappa, which, through artisanal care and decades of experience, becomes a distillate of exceptional quality.
Product Description
In clear amber with warm golden reflections, this grappa reveals an expressive bouquet: ripe dried fruits, vanilla, toasted almonds, caramel, and subtle wood notes rise to the nose. On the palate, it is soft, round, and full-bodied – with complex aromatics, a silky texture, and a long, elegant finish that leaves nuances of tobacco, cocoa, and spices.
Aging
Aging takes place over several years in carefully selected oak barrels. This long maturation gives the grappa its depth, structure, and characteristic aromas of vanilla, toast, and sweet spices – harmoniously integrated into the fruity base of the pomace distillate.
Production
Distillation is traditionally carried out in discontinuous copper pot stills to gently and completely extract the grape's aromatic compounds. During aging, the distillate undergoes strict quality control to ensure the balance of alcohol, wood, and primary aromas.
Serving Suggestion
Ideal as a stylish digestif – best served at room temperature. Its multi-layered aroma also makes this grappa an excellent pairing for dark chocolate, aged cheese, or a fine cigar. The generous magnum bottle also makes it the perfect choice for special occasions or as a high-quality gift.
