Origin and Production

The Monte Sabotino Grappa 30 Anni comes from the traditional distillery Zanin 1895 in the heart of Veneto. This region is not only known for excellent wines, but also for its outstanding grappas. Due to its location between the Alps and the Adriatic, the vines benefit from optimal climatic conditions, which are reflected in the quality of the pomace – the basis of every great grappa.

Product Description

This noble grappa matures for over 30 years in selected wooden barrels, developing an extraordinary depth and aroma. On the nose, it reveals notes of dried fruits, vanilla, cocoa, roasted nuts, fine spices, and a hint of leather and tobacco. On the palate, it is soft, round, and complex, with a harmonious balance between sweetness, spice, and wood. The finish is long, warm, and elegant – a true meditation grappa.

Aging

The three-decade aging takes place in high-quality oak barrels, which give the distillate its warm amber color and fine oxidative aging aromas. Through slow aging, the grappa acquires its incomparable finesse and softness.

Production

The Monte Sabotino is made from the pomace of exquisite grape varieties and distilled discontinuously in copper pot stills using traditional methods. This is followed by a long aging period in barrels, with each batch individually monitored and regularly tasted to guarantee the highest quality.

Serving Suggestion

Ideal as a digestif – enjoy neat at room temperature (approx. 18–20°C). A delight for special occasions, also excellent accompanied by a fine cigar or dark chocolate.
