🍾 La Montina Franciacorta Satèn DOCG – Gentle Elegance from Franciacorta
The gentle hills of Franciacorta provide the perfect ripeness for the grapes of the Satèn. Each bottle of this premium Franciacorta tells a story of the winemakers' passion, patience, and craftsmanship. Satèn stands for softness, elegance, and creamy perlage, making every sip an experience.
🥂 Grape Varieties & Character
The blend consists of 100% Chardonnay. With approx. 9 g/l residual sugar and 12% vol. alcohol, the Satèn presents itself as off-dry, velvety, and balanced. The at least 30 months of aging on lees in the bottle ensures complex aromas, delicate texture, and fine perlage.
🌿 Production & Technique
The grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed. After the first fermentation, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle (Metodo Classico). The long aging on lees, riddling, and disgorgement guarantee a very fine, creamy perlage. A small portion matures in barriques, which creates subtle notes of brioche and almonds.
